Weekend in Anglesey

This weekend we visited the in-laws in Anglesey.
When we first got there,  we were greeted by the cutest little pheasant at the door. My mother inlaw told us how he visits every morning and knocks on the door for his daily feed. The adorable boy had escaped from a nearby recreational shooting ground and had been followed by his two girlfriends and now lives in their fields.

We actually spent most of the evening cooking and watching Christmas films. For pudding we had a delicious slow cooked rice pudding. I have huge oven envy, as they have the biggest aga/range oven I have ever seen and it has soo much space for food!
For breakfast Richard cooked me a full English(even though we are in wales). It consisted of bacon and sausages from his sisters farm just down the road and delicious fresh eggs from a family friend just two miles away by the sea.
We had a quick nosey around Richards dads veg plot. He managed to get some early variety potatoes in the polytunnel, which he is hoping will be ready for Christmas dinner.
After dinner/breakfast we went for a stroll around the woods. There is soo many beautiful colours around at this time of year. I took a million photos! What a fantastic weekend!
